We have never done an E-Symposium or a web conference presentation, how does it work?TM?

It is very simple. You create the PowerPoint presentation (we will send you some guidelines to consider for the optimum result). Once you have created your presentation, you send it to the Sponsorship Manager who will forward it to the technical team. We will then convert the PowerPoint presentation into its final format and upload your presentation to the player. Once this is done, you will receive a link with confirmation of the time and date of your presentation as well as a mini tutorial so that you can familiarise yourself with the user interface. Essentially all you're doing is pressing 'next' when you want to push a slide whilst you are speaking the presentation into the telephone. About 72 hours before the event you will receive a final e-mail confirming your time slot and the telephone number we will call you on. On the live day, we call you 5 minutes before your presentation to make test the slides and optimise sound settings. You will then be ushered in by the moderator. Once you have completed your 15/30-minute presentations, you will hear the moderator thanking you and you will then engage in the Q&A session, whereby the moderator will read out questions submitted by delegates. Delegates submit questions by typing them into their Q&A interface.


Why do you use a speaker photograph rather than video streaming?

We do not using video streaming as the bandwidth required for users is far greater. Also, from a logistical perspective it would be an enormous challenge and highly costly to transmit live video of speakers in up to 10 different countries. Still, the photograph puts a face to the voice and the delegate can focus on the presentation slides.


What if delegates miss the web conference or are outside of the time zone whilst we're presenting?

The e-SymposiumTM is archived within 48 hours after the live event. The only difference for you is that questions from delegates will not be received live but into your e-mail inbox at the end of each business day. The Q&A tab which was used by delegates to submit questions to you live turns into a 'Feedback' tab which acts as an enquiry form.


Will we be able to see who viewed our presentation?

Yes, the management intelligence we provide as part of your involvement includes company name, job title, name and contact details of opt-in delegates who viewed your presentation.
